Transformers: Devastation (2015) was PlatinumGames' love letter to the original Generation 1 cartoon — a cel-shaded action game that put Optimus Prime back in his classic red-and-blue cab-over truck form and let him fight Megatron and the Constructicons across a human city being converted into Cybertronian matter by Vector Sigma. This version of Optimus is drawn directly from that game's aesthetic: the flat-colour G1 animation style translated into three dimensions, with the same proportions and design language that defined the 1984 series. The Studio Series Deluxe Class figure captures that specific Devastation look — distinct from the film designs and the War for Cybertron Cybertronian forms — with conversion between robot and his iconic long-nose truck mode.
