Liopleurodon was one of the apex predators of the Late Jurassic seas — a massive pliosaur with a short, powerful neck, four broad flippers, and a skull lined with large conical teeth built for seizing prey in open water. Unlike the long-necked plesiosaurs it shared its ocean with, Liopleurodon was built for speed and brute force: a compact, torpedo-shaped body driven by four-flipper propulsion, capable of bursting through the water column to ambush from below. Its inclusion in the Gigantic Thrashers line is a natural fit — the figure captures both its predatory power and its distinctive marine locomotion, with a button-activated jaw chomp and a flipper thrashing action that brings its swimming strike to life.
