Jurassic World: Rebirth – Wild Roar Nasutoceratops

Nasutoceratops titusi was a ceratopsian from the Late Cretaceous Kaiparowits Formation of Utah, formally described in 2013. Its name means "large-nosed horned face" — a reference to its unusually enlarged nasal region, which palaeontologists believe may have housed expanded nasal passages rather than serving a combat function. What made Nasutoceratops immediately distinctive among ceratopsians was its horns: long, forward-curving brow horns more reminiscent of modern cattle than the upright spikes of Triceratops or the elaborate frill ornamentation of Styracosaurus, suggesting a different set of display and intraspecific combat behaviours. It was a mid-sized ceratopsian, roughly five metres long, and shared its Utah floodplain ecosystem with other large herbivores including Utahceratops — an unusually high diversity of horned dinosaurs for a single formation, which has led to ongoing research into how multiple ceratopsian species partitioned resources in the same habitat. In the Jurassic World franchise it appeared in Dominion-era material, and the Rebirth Wild Roar release gives it sound and movement features that suit the animal's active, herd-oriented behaviour.
