Jurassic World: Rebirth – Strike Attack Yuxisaurus

Yuxisaurus kopchicki is one of the earliest known thyreophoran dinosaurs — an armoured herbivore from the Early Jurassic of Yunnan Province, China, dating back roughly 192 million years. Described formally in 2022 from a remarkably complete skeleton, it fills a critical gap in the evolutionary record between the primitive armoured dinosaurs of the Triassic and the heavily plated stegosaurs and ankylosaurs that followed. Its body was low-slung and compact, covered in small osteoderms, and built for ground-level browsing rather than speed. As one of the most complete early thyreophorans ever found, Yuxisaurus gives palaeontologists a clearer picture of how body armour evolved in dinosaurs — and gives the Rebirth line a species with genuine scientific weight behind it.
