Jakapil kaniukura was only formally described in 2022, making it one of the most recently named dinosaurs to enter the Jurassic World franchise. Found in Patagonia, it was a small armoured herbivore from the Cretaceous — a thyreophoran, related to ankylosaurs and stegosaurs, but representing a lineage that persisted in South America long after similar animals had disappeared elsewhere. Its low-slung body, leaf-shaped teeth, and rows of protective osteoderms gave it a profile unlike anything else in its ecosystem. The Danger Pack figure captures that distinctive silhouette: compact, armoured, and built close to the ground in a way that sets it apart from the larger theropods and sauropods that dominate most Jurassic World toy lines.
