Dryosaurus lived alongside the great predators of the Late Jurassic — Allosaurus, Ceratosaurus, Stegosaurus — and survived by being fast, alert, and difficult to catch. A hypsilophodontid ornithopod, it was bipedal and lightly built, with long legs designed for sustained speed rather than bursts, and eyes positioned for wide-field predator detection. Fossils have been found across the Morrison Formation in North America and in Tanzania, making it one of the better-documented small herbivores of its era. The Hammond Collection True FX figure captures the animal’s slender proportions and upright posture with a poseable jaw and tail — the kind of anatomical detail that separates this line from standard play-scale releases.
