Autobot Ramhorn is Blaster's hard-hitting cassette ally from the original Generation 1 era, converting from data cassette into an armoured rhinoceros — one of the micro-changers stored in Blaster's chest cavity alongside Steeljaw and Eject. Insecticon Bombshell is a Decepticon saboteur whose cerebro-shells allow him to implant post-hypnotic commands in both humans and Transformers, making him one of the most insidious members of the Insecticon trio alongside Kickback and Shrapnel. The pairing reflects two distinct corners of the 1985–86 G1 toy and animation run: the cassette-based micro-formers that expanded Blaster and Soundwave's arsenals, and the Insecticons who operated as a semi-independent Decepticon faction with their own agenda. The 40th Anniversary Retro release packages both with Sunbow animation-accurate colours, 1986 movie-inspired box art, and vintage tech specs.
