Frank Payne was a SHIELD agent before he went rogue and became Constrictor — a mercenary for hire armed with a pair of cybernetically controlled adamantium coils that extend from his wrists, capable of constricting with enough force to crush steel or delivering a powerful electric charge. He built a career fighting heroes and working for whoever paid, but his history is more complicated than a straight villain: he’s operated as an anti-hero, struggled with the moral weight of his choices, and at various points tried to pull back from the life. In the original Secret Wars, he was among the villains transported to Battleworld by the Beyonder — a street-level mercenary dropped into a conflict between gods — and this Marvel Legends figure captures that classic look with the coils that define him.
