Jurassic World: Epic Evolution – Danger Pack Kileskus

Kileskus aristotocus was described in 2010 from the Itat Formation of Krasnoyarsk Krai, Siberia, dating to the Middle Jurassic (Bathonian stage, approximately 168 million years ago). It is one of the earliest known tyrannosauroids — a member of the lineage that would eventually produce Tyrannosaurus rex, but separated from that endpoint by nearly 100 million years of evolution. At this stage the tyrannosauroid body plan was still compact and lightly built: Kileskus was a relatively small predator, bipedal and fast, with the characteristic tyrannosauroid skull shape already beginning to emerge but without the massive proportions and reduced forelimbs that define the Late Cretaceous giants. Its Siberian origin places it in a part of the tyrannosauroid fossil record that helps palaeontologists trace how the group spread from Asia into North America over the course of the Jurassic and Cretaceous. The Epic Evolution Danger Pack brings that early tyrannosauroid identity into the Jurassic World range with an articulated action feature.
