Jurassic World: Dominion Dino Trackers – Strike Attack Gigantspinosaurus

Gigantspinosaurus sichuanensis was described from the Shaximiao Formation of Sichuan Province, China, dating to the Late Jurassic (approximately 160 million years ago). What sets it apart from other stegosaurians is its inverted proportions: where Stegosaurus carries large back plates and relatively modest shoulder spines, Gigantspinosaurus does the opposite — small, narrow back plates paired with enormous paired shoulder spines that project outward and upward from the pectoral region. Those spines are the defining feature of the animal, likely serving a dual role in display and defence against the large theropods sharing its environment. It was a mid-sized stegosaurian, smaller than Stegosaurus but built along the same broad herbivore body plan, with the characteristic spiked tail thagomizer common to the group. The Strike Attack figure captures that distinctive shoulder spine silhouette with a button-activated action feature.
